today i had to do one of my top
most unfun things to do first
thing in the morning.......
clean up after a bear food fest, grrrrr!
"ok, trash bin back in the garage you go, i know
you like it out here on your nice little concrete pad
with your recycle and compost bin buddies, but i am
taking no more risks. this is not fun."
and the day had started off so well, oh well....
my darling paul had kindly offered to drive sebastian to
seminary, gabi is away at her 5th grade outdoor
ed. adventure and ben had left for an appointment with his physio/trainer at 5am. so i stayed in bed and
slept until 9:15. i think i am better,
but obviously i am not.
that was a treat i hadn't had in years!
cu art museum grand opening....
......however the rest of the day was great. paul and i met Nicole and max for the
grand opening of the new cu art museum
nicole has been working on the displays for the
permanent collection in the gallery and
it is amazing. so proud of you, my clever,
passionate and lovely art historian daughter
.....one semester to go!
major breaking news....
Paul was featured on the
BBC WORLD NEWS
yesterday!!

my lilies are in their fragrant and
full bloom glory
sebastian packed up for an adventurous scout camp
weekend. "hmmmm,
where i am going to put the rest of this stuff?"
gabi arrived home safe and sound in the early evening from
her camp with stories of rope courses,
zip lines, cold nights, hot days and a cool
tour bus with bathrooms.
you go girl!
- the gullbeats' band room is coming along very nicely
the sun just pours into this south facing window
i love it!
and to cap off what turned out to be a wonderful day.....
