paul and i were out for the evening and phoned
home to see if the boys (friend josh included) wanted us
to pick up some dinner for them.
"we're making dinner..."
wow, not what i expected to hear.
by the time we got home, there they were
donning aprons, dish towels over their shoulders and seemingly only
missing chef's hats.
they were completely immersed in making,
parmesan chicken.
and it was delicious!!
what a way to spend a weekend night!
i don't do this often,
i'm not quite sure why not,
but friday afternoon i went to the movies by myself.
i saw the most beautiful interpretation (and i've seen a good deal of them)
of one of my favorite english classics
by Charlotte Bronte
with this exquisite cast, mesmerizing setting and timeless tale
i was completely immersed and lost somewhere amongst the english heather...
gabi had her dance concert on saturday!
her jazz class performed their piece to the song,
safety dance by men without hats, circa 1980...
We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine
I say, we can go where we want to
A place where they will never find
And we can act like we come from out of this world
Leave the real one far behind
And we can dance...
with many other dance groups performing their pieces as well for
a very entertaining evening.
then,
she got to have a photo shoot
that was fun!
gabrielle also just received a phone call about her audition last week for
summer production of.......
you're a good man, charlie brown
she was offered the part of
sally!
and is very excited about it.
