it's fall sports season.
although ben and sab have been weight lifting and practicing with the football team
since the end of school last may,
the real season is starting and both
varsity and j.v. teams have a scrimmage this friday!
we are all very excited for this season.
sab is on the j.v. team playing
linebacker and tight end!
ben comes back on varsity again as running back.
ben and the knights had a write up in the newspaper
last weekend to get everyone pumped about
the high school football season!
gabi's soccer season has also just begun.
they had their first tournament up in ft. collins last weekend.
they have a very exciting new team
and gabi has decided to play out of goal this year!!
this time of year also means that we have to say goodbye to margo.
she heads back to provo tomorrow so we spent the day getting her ready and
outfitted for another byu year.
grandpa is here and took margo and i out to lunch.
grandpa has been in maryland and is on his way back home to san diego.
he is going to stay and watch ben and sab's games on friday.
poor roxy could tell that something was up.
she followed margo all around the house today as she was gathering
her things from the four corners of the house
and packing up.
"i'm going to miss you so much, margo,"
sighs roxy.
had some fun photos taken today!!
and then gave margo a private performance to send her off.

what an amazingly fun summer we've had with you.
may this new semester and year at university
bring you happiness, challenges and new dreams.
i will miss your boisterousness, your cooking, flip flops, gum wrappers, stylin', q-tips everywhere
