hamburg

paul is finally home after a business trip to europe.

his first stop was hamburg, germany!

he was able to spend a few days with nicole and max.

they all had such a fabulous time being together again!!

they spent a day in the medieval city of lubeck 

which features buildings dating back to the 13th century.

lubeck is in northern germany

and located along the trave river.

it is the largest german port to the baltic sea.

they stopped for dinner at this restaurant.

it has been serving sailors since the 16th century.

nicole took her beatles-loving father to a club where the beatles performed while in germany.

apparently, they (the beatles) played for hours in the basement of the club.

nicole, i'm so glad you and dad got to spend some time together.

he said you were doing so well and looked wonderful as you are immersing yourself

in all the wonder and culture and opportunities that surround you.
