we're off to utah for new year's.

five hours and counting and a rest stop stop.
london living emma, paul's niece, is visiting grandma and grandpa for the holidays too.

many hours of the weekend were spent pouring through old photo albums
and eating grandma's divine dishes.
there is just nothing else like a family table laden with her south african cooking
shared with grandparents, grandchildren, aunts, uncles and cousins.

we next met together on new year's eve!!
we all met at tessa's house for
dinner and then desserts from
the sweet tooth fairy!!
we turned tessa's living room into a disco!!
and it all got crazy from then on through the night!
the countdown to................midnight!!
