spring break



it's spring break and the weather is fine!!!

we decided to hang around boulder this year
so ben could concentrate on staying fit, strong, lean and healthy for track.
these sprinter bodies are fine-tuned - not unlike a race horse!
since his performances last about 10 seconds, 
all the factors need to be in place and at their peak:
strength
power
flexibility
fitness
weight
and your head in the right place too.
so he's been working out intensely every day and then we play!


yesterday, we headed to golden for lunch and a visit to the school of mines
to get t-shirts!
next year we'll be cheering for our new favorite team!!
go mines!!


there's also been a lot of trampolining going on, yard clean up, gardening, suntanning.......


reading.......


and golfing!
