senior prom

tonight is senior prom!

beautiful couple, ben and emma.

how did ben ask emma to prom?.........

he made a flag with "emma" painted in large letters on one side and "prom?" painted on the other, 

hopped on the scooter and drove to her lacrosse practice across town, 

during a break, he rode back and forth across the field holding the flag high flying in the wind!  

with a scream and a jump, she said - yes!!  

nothing like a handsome knight on a scooter!!

their large group of friends gathered for photos, loaded onto a party bus 

and headed out to dinner in downtown boulder.

next, the bus will take them into downtown denver to.......

invesco field football stadium - home of the denver broncos, wow!

their prom's theme is:

titanic

knight on deck!

margo and i gave him a kiss and best wishes for a wonderfully, memorable night.

have soooo much fun emma and ben!!

sebastian is also going to prom tonight.

he was asked by a senior girl!!

how did brittany ask sab to prom?

a cupcake was delivered to him during a class at school with instructions to eat it carefully.

inside the cupcake was this note:

"would you consider..."

a second cupcake was delivered to him during the next class with the same instructions.

inside the cupcake was this note:

"going to prom with..."

then after school brittany walked up to sebastian with a big, beautiful cake iced with the word.....

"me?"

"why, of course," said sebastian.

their fun group of friends are gathering at one of their houses,

donning aprons and making dinner together.

then they too are off to the dance at invesco field.

after the dance, our community holds

"after prom"

from 12 midnight to 5:00 am at a local recreation center.

the kids love it so we won't be seeing ben and sebastian until tomorrow.
