our oriental poppies are in full bloom.
when we first met our property in it's wildly, wonderful state, it was the month of may
and greeting us were thousands and thousands of brilliantly bright orange and black-faced poppies.
we look forward to this time each year as oriental poppies are fleeting
and never happy brought inside as cut flowers. they are joyful and most content left alone
to illuminate fields and streams and tucked away corners.
I am so glad that the poppies are still there. They were also my first impression of your country home. They are indeed beautiful. I left a comment on the girl's camp and the black hollyhocks but it never made the screen. I do have a spot of trouble with commenting.Hope this one works.
