bff's

yesterday was a lovely day.

i spent it with two beautiful and bestest high school girlfriends, liz and nancy.

we all grew up in maryland and still can't believe our luck - 

we all live in colorado now!

our initial good intentions were to meet for a hike.

the weather changed on us so what is the next best thing?

breakfast and shopping!

we headed up to evergreen, co and stopped at

the country road cafe for some mammoth sized breakfast comfort food.

we're talking mashed potatoes with bacon, scrambled eggs, avocado etc.

pretty much the only meal you need for the day!

next, we walked around evergreen lake enjoying the leaves, the mountains, the cool air and

each other's company.

we then headed further up the mountain and toured a day spa - 

maybe our next excursion together - oh yeah!

and ended our day shopping.

thanks you two.  can't wait to get together again soon.
