new barbeque + roxy

hooray!  we got a new barbeque.

we (paul) loves to bbq around here and he is good, i mean he is really good.  

i'm convinced south african males carry some sort of barbequeing gene.

our old bbq had quite a history.......

bought used from friends in australia, used for years in australia,

 hauled to the u.s., used for eight more years here.

the lid hinges had rusted through a while ago, so a simple burger meal was nothing short of a major workout lifting the 30 lb. lid off, setting it on the ground, starting the meat, lifting the lid back on.........

you get the picture.

so, this delicious lamb chop and chicken sausage dinner was a joy.

simply: lift lid, barbeque, replace.

mmmmmm.
