our beautiful snowy white amaryllis have begun to bloom.
it's sort of a surprise each year as we buy these bulbs to enjoy over the Christmas season,
as to just how many blooms will bloom. this year i think we got very lucky.
gabi's school choir presented their Christmas concert last night.
it was wonderful. gabi performed in a trio of friends singing, "let it snow"
with sebastian accompanying.
afterwards, we celebrated at the local fro-yo shop....
left leg over right leg, ankle on thigh - the proper fro-yo eating position?
look at what we woke to on this glorious winter morning.....
always the sign of a happy day.

it was delicious and talk about the wonderful smells of Christmas......
cinnamon, stewed apples and orange zest.
you could even add a last swirl of cream, mmmmmm!
