afternoon tea

it is the first day of spring.  

let's celebrate with bold & beautiful daffodils!

i was invited to afternoon tea at my friend jill's house.

i was thinking about making almond scones but decided to finish sewing a secret something for m&a instead.  so, i stopped by the neighborhood bakery and chose these 

delicious & delicate french macaroons to share. 

there weren't any bright spring colors from which to choose but

aren't these neutral chocolate and vanillas gorgeous?
