i'm quite sure that you are sick & tired of viewing snow photos.......me too.
we had another surprise snowstorm this weekend. in fact, it was the biggest snow yet.
a whopping twelve inches of this familiar, white, fluffy iceness settled on our deck.
so, paul went into comfort food mode
and made a hot & savoury pot roast for sunday lunch.
this put us all in the mood for a lazy, long afternoon of
quiet music by the fireplace, lounging in fur blankets and movies.
i'd never seen the movie amélie. how charming and delightful it is.
i adore the quirky, detailed and subtle nuances of french films.
quite a refreshing change.
it is spring break this week. we have no plans to go anywhere except for gabi.
she has left on a road trip with her best friend and her family.
they are touring southern colorado, new mexico and arizona.
she's having a blast but we are already missing her. have fun babycakes!
ben was at the university of southern california this weekend for a track meet.
so, nicole drove over to meet up with him! what a treat!
they haven't seen each other since Christmas.
they haven't seen each other since Christmas.
they did send me photos of the two of them hungrily
eating very large burritos, which i won't share :)

i'm so glad the two of you were able to be with each other again.
wish i could have been there too.
