memorial day weekend

the weather is gorgeous.  it's suddenly summer.

we're having a fun and very full memorial day weekend

and it isn't over yet.

sebastian's band performed at boulder's annual creekfest!

they were fabulous!! well done, willow tree.

what a crowd!!!

this is the weekend that boulder really comes alive.

boulder creekfest carries on all weekend with all you could want

rides, booths, shows, carnival food, people watching......

 the very popular bolderboulder 10k race took place this morning.

and what is memorial day weekend 

without the traditional barbeque.....

the kids pitched a tent down by the stream 

and have been camping out the last two nights.

right now, paul and all are on a half day hike.  

i opted out and must admit, i'm enjoying the peace and quiet

around here for a few hours.......love long weekends!
