we shared a delicious sunday lunch yesterday with some new friends.
this beautiful ginger haired family has just moved into the neighborhood and as it turns out, we have many friends in common. it is going to be so fun to have this friendly family of 6 just down the road.

paul made up a gorgeous menu featuring his childhood favorite, roast lamb.

roasted acorn squash
roasted asparagus, brussel sprouts and onion
ratatouille
kale salad
my meager contribution was dessert. although, it was super, lemony delicious! i l-o-v-e lemon cake.
it would have been even better spread with another inch or two of the sour lemon icing, yum.
