reunited

we were in utah this weekend visiting family and doing other fun things.

sebastian and roxy stayed at grandma and grandpa's house.  grandpa is an animal lover

and so rox always gets the 5 star treatment, coming away a few pounds heavier than on arrival.

to tell you the truth, we all leave carrying a few pounds more.  grandma is a very gifted 

and generous cook and whips up beautiful treats for us like apple pie with cream or almond tart (not pictured, but devoured).  the apples for the pie were picked from auntie alex's tree.

one evening we headed up the canyon with alex and her family and made a bonfire under 

the full moon and one afternoon paul and i took our mother's out for lunch.  ben, sab and i went to see the movie captain phillips - soo good.

we also spent fun times with margo and andrew and little helga.

ben joined us all too but i never got a photo of him.  i wanted to take photos of his track practice, but

we were too late.  gabi actually stayed in boulder with a friend this time.  there was a lot of ballet going on and she didn't want to miss any of it as their winter performance is coming up soon.

we took the dogs for a walk in the park across from gma and gpa's house and

margo reunited with her big pup.  what a lovely weekend.  

i loved being with my kids again!
