happy thanksgiving

we had a very happy thanksgiving.  i hope you did too.

nicole and max arrived early in the morning so our family was altogether again. 

overwhelming feelings of thankfulness for this blessing alone.

gabi made a light and healthy breakfast fruit smoothie for everyone.

the pie baking started early too. 

margo & andrew were in charge making all of the pies!

then the boys headed off to the traditional turkey bowl....

at home, the baking, prepping, chilling, barbequeing, mixing and concocting began 

heading for the four o'clock thanksgiving feast start time.

as the rest of us are but they are working things out.

 the feasting begin....

i loved having everyone around the family table again.

lively conversation, catching up, revisiting memories.......

we took a long break after dinner to recover, play games, watch old home videos (so boring for max and andrew, sorry guys)

then we broke out the pies!!

chocolate silk, banana cream, cherry and pecan.

thanks for the memories - let's continue this great weekend together.
