it was a very happy sunday lunch yesterday.
not only was paul's menu delicious:
broiled cob brushed with pesto
meatball subs (for our non-fish eaters)
roasted butternut with garlic and pine nuts
rice pilaf
green salad
frosty fruit desserts (from paul's vitamix bday present)
but.....
ben is home!! we picked him up at the airport sunday morning
and savored having him at the family table again.
all the kids will be coming home for thanksgiving.
we can't wait!
