i wanted to share one of our winter dinner staples with you today.
chicken tortilla soup.
don't know what it is, but this soup a l w a y s hits the spot - savory, spicy, tex mex goodness.
i roughly follow ree's recipe (the pioneer woman).
except:
i haven't tried adding the corn meal
i do add a can of corn
i substitute strips of flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas as a garnish
*I never forget the avocado - that is a must that both ree and i agree on!!
