lincoln center performance

sebastian is back from new york city
feeling exhausted yet exhilarated.

what a wonderful experience he had
exploring the american city of cities.

the highlight of the trip for him was auditioning and being chosen for a solo
at the lincoln center performances.
the fairview choirs, excalibur and age of guinevere, were the only high school choirs invited
to the 2014 new york city jazz festival along with university choirs from around the country.

the conductor of the combined choir pieces,
including new york state of mind,
was world renowned choral director,
steve zegree.

what a memorable moment for you, sab!  it's incredible.
i am so so proud and happy for you.

thank you to the fairview choir directors, rochelle and janice, for
bringing the magic of music and musical performance into the lives of so many students,
as well as making opportunities like this happen.

here is another video (proud mom's privilege:)
with a different perspective of the combined choir.

a heartfelt thank you to our friends, for sending us the videos so we could "be there" with our son.
