april's glorious jumble of colorful lily-ness.

yes, they are still here.  in fact, i have nursed one of our finches back to health after her collision with an indoor window.

everywhere, new blossoms are filling the air with the unmistakable scent of spring.

gabi had a roasting-marshmallows-over-a-bonfire sleepover with friends on the weekend.  one of these friends from school is an unbelievably talented photographer, especially for her age. all of the photos on this post, except for the top one, are hers.  in the morning, she so kindly agreed to give her friends a photo shoot.  i wish i could share all of the photos with you, especially the "besties" group photos!  beautiful, happy friends.
