we are back from provo, utah and we are one less than before.
sebastian is officially a college student. b.y.u. summer term classes started today.
it was difficult to leave my son there. it doesn't get easier.
we left him happy and excited so i will get there too.
(but sab, i got a heart pang when i drove down the driveway this afternoon and saw your
car which usually means you are there too. i miss you already, sweetie.)
sebastian's dorm is a new building and the room is big, clean, efficient, so close to campus
and in the shadow of the football stadium scoreboard (above).
we also met his roommate, a very kind and gracious guy.
he's from colorado too - yay!
sebastian spent most of the weekend at freshman orientation. he's met some
great friends already.
we spent our time with family including margo and andrew! oh and nigel and helga too.
it felt so good to be with them again. we miss you!
ben was happy to be back in provo and ecstatic to be reunited with his motorcycle.
we also got to meet his group of friends from track as most of them are spending the summer there. what outstanding and amazing people they are!
it was a dogfest at grandma and grandpa's. their sweet chihuahua layed low the
whole weekend. don't blame you, molly!
well, my beautiful boy. you are set. you have everything you need in your
heart and head to meet this new adventure. you also have a very large family
here and there just aching to support you as you make your dreams come true.
