i pass a heavily laden and lonely apple tree each morning as i walk roxy.
no one lives on this abandoned, neighborhood property. it doesn't quite have
a haunted look to it but, i am very interested to know this little house's story.
i could no longer resist the sweet, ruby red offerings of the beautiful and abundant apple tree.
so, gabi and i invited neighborhood friends over to pick our fill and make caramel apples.
let's go!

back home, the kids unwrapped kraft caramels and went to work making
golden, sticky caramel apples.
thank you, generous tree and mysterious neighbors,
for a lovely autumn afternoon adventure.
The kids just asked when we were going to go pick more apples and make carmel apples with them..."because Janet taught you!"
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks for sharing your kids with me and spending the afternoon with us. I love being neighbors.
