checking in

let's check in and check up on what all of my faraway kids
have been up to lately........

nicole...

nicole sent me these photos one day without an explanation.
they clued me in to the fact that she was definitely somewhere other than
her home in los angeles.
i thought she might be in europe, so rainy, cozy and village-y looking they were.
she was actually on a business trip to beautiful ithaca, n.y.
to deliver a gift to a world renowned public figure and financial donor
who had funded their firm's building project there.

margo and andrew...

i've hacked a few of my kid's instagram photos for this post, including this one of margo's.  their instagrams blow...me...away.  they are fascinating and they've got the touch.  it's fun to see their world through their eyes.  hi helga.

margo auditioned and was given a lead as lucy in the up and coming holiday show,
A Charlie Brown Christmas performing at the empress theater in magna, utah.  go margo!

i am fascinated by this historic building.  it first opened in 1916 as a burlesque show for the local miners.  it showed silent movies until 1930 and then closed.  it has now been beautifully restored and provides the salt lake valley with live theater!  we'll be there, margo!  i'm so excited!

ben...

ben and friends decided a weekend away from university was in order so they rented an r.v. and took off for yellowstone.
"it was amazing, but super cold at night.  the rv was awesome!"

sebastian...

sebastian is enjoying this fall semester, his first year at university.  he is also working
at waffle love and liking loving it.  he is assistant manager and has already been given a raise.  what is there not to love about this trendy, popular and fun restaurant?  i mean, it even has an artsy food truck, c'mon!

i miss you always.  have a lovely weekend, you guys.

you too!
