Billy Joel!

last night, paul came home from work and surprised us with billy joel tickets!!

no way!!

yes way!!

so......off we went to the pepsi center in downtown denver.

how exciting!

we are big fans of billy joel and it doesn't stop with me and paul. all our kids have grown up listening to, singing and playing his songs.

paul has already been to a performance this year. over the summer, he and sebastian drove to kansas city for a billy joel concert weekend.

our gabi would even like to be adopted by billy!?

me, i too love billy. his songs bring back fond and distinct memories through decades of my life.

(and i've also always wanted to meet his ex-wife, christie :)

we had amazing seats but alittle while into the concert, we were invited to move even closer to the stage. umm...........ok, you don't have to ask twice!!! it was fantastic!!

it's amazing to think what influence this piano man, this genius, this one, single person's gifts and talents have had on oh so many hearts. it was an over the top great time!!!
