hallooo friends! i have returned to the land of blogging after a six month or so leave of absence. to my surprise, i began to miss it. i truly did. i missed taking the time to capture on camera moments that caught my eye and scenes i wanted to share or remember. i also truly missed the creativity factor, sharing with family and friends in the states and overseas and documenting experiences and connections with people. i missed posting what i find to be beautiful, to be worthwhile, to be remember-worthy, uplifting and hopefully at times inspiring as i so often appreciate from those i follow. having said that, there were things i haven't missed........photo editing (bleh), wondering if content i think at all worthy truly is worthwhile and the self-infused pressure of posting regularly. so i am making some changes this go 'round.
first off, my dear husband surprised me with a new computer at christmas clear of the heavyweight 55,000 blog photos and 460 videos stored in its tired, old and slow inner workings. although i still can't get around photo editing, that will always be a task, my new computer is oh, so light-hearted, speedy and a-w-e-s-o-m-e! thanks, baby.
secondly, the question of content......i'm only getting older braver stronger patient riskier bolder (yes, that's the word!) so if i'm feeling a subject is worthy of a post, well, then......it is. i'm also changing up the general theme of my blog. i want to share our maneuvering through this empty-nester stage paul and i have recently been forced into with bewilderment and heavy hearts. it has presented itself, now that the initial shock has worn off and our vision has become clearer, with some definite perks and wows! it is so fun!!
lastly, i won't be posting on a regular schedule but share as events, opportunities or mood strikes me. (for those who know me well, this is a stretch as to do lists, schedules, plans, basically "predictability" are my buzz words) so, just check in once in a while, i would love to have you here.
Live your
life and
forget
your age.
