payson lakes, utah

we've just returned from a weekend in utah.

our time was f-i-l-l-e-d with family as our utah visits always are. we are lucky. we are lucky to have such a large an enormous extended family. there's never a dull moment, there's always a lot of food and fun, plus we can always count on a bounteous supply of love.

one afternoon, we went up the mountain to payson lakes for a paddle and a swim with paul's sister laura and her boys, his sister alex and her husband and boys as well as paul's sister gillian who is visiting from south africa. we were treated to families of ducklings and deer sipping from the water's edge. it was hot down in the valley but it was cool, refreshing and gorgeous up there........

utah summers are extraordinary.
