This scenery reminded me of the drive we took on Sunday morning when we left you, to visit the graves of Buffalo Bill and his wife Louisa right on the top of Look Out Mountain. The steep road was shared by many bikers straining up the curves and equally determined skate boarders dicing with death as they swerved down the same steep curves, sharing the road with cars. It was very cold and windy but well worth the visit and the view.
ReplyDeleteQuestion - how did they get those two coffins up that steep never ending drive, one hundred years ago. And all the mourners.
Thank you for the directions and a lovely two days spent in your home in the library suite, and the beautiful garden. And Paul's fridge - a never ending cache of left overs to be combined in so many different ways.
With love.
Mervyl, thank you for adding us to your holiday itinerary. It was lovely having you come stay again. Thanks too for helping me clean out the fridge - you are welcome anytime!!!!! There are ALWAYS delightful leftovers.
