paul left for 

argentina sunday afternoon...

he'll be gone all week.  

(it was very difficult for him to leave

                ben)

but, before he left, he made us this delicious sunday lunch.........

nicole, max, ben, sab, me, gabi and katie here for lunch....

she's taking her first art class

and loving it.

she sends me photos of her drawings from her phone:

she is also taking her first ballet class

and loving it.  so much so that she has joined the ballet club so she can dance on saturdays too.

ben update:

we had a follow up appt. with the dr. today.  he took more x-rays and found that the radius (the bottom bone) is fusing together beautifully but unfortunately, the ulna (the top bone) has shifted quite dramatically.  therefore, surgery will be needed.  we see the dr. on thursday and hope to get the surgery done this week.  he is still in good spirits.  he has been very touched by the caring texts, cards, e-mails, cookies, pizza, cupcakes and kind words from everyone.  thank you.
