dining in







woke up saturday morning to the happy giggles and screams of little girls jumping on the tramp.....
gabi and gracie had a sleepover at gracie's house then got on their bikes and came our way......



downstairs.......
sab is serenading everyone at bfast.  he is a dream on the ukelele.



sab and caleb (gull beat band member, friend & great guy) are heading off for the day to the high school.  these two are part of the sound production crew for the musical fairview is putting on this week.  we have tickets for wednesday 

to see...... 



we are so excited for this production!
this school has incredible talent and our friend josh
(see oct. post extravaganza)

plays the part of marius.....


on the calendar.....



i headed back up to bed because......
we've got some serious partying coming our way at the end of this month........
and i have plenty of planning to do......
ok, i admit it, the first place i went to was my november martha mag. stash....

celebrations.....
we are having a momentous paul birthday celebration/thanksgiving weekend coming up and have invited all of paul's family to play!  margo will be coming home too - i am so excited to be with you again, precious one!!
so.....adding everyone up.....we'll have 26 for dinner and hopefully most of those will be staying here as well......

paul is pumping out the water from the waterfall, stream and ponds.....
all the leaves need to be cleared out, then he'll fill them up again......






i put the veggie/herb beds to bed for the winter......

george's special recipe.....

 bits of organic material left from plants
+
1 bag of cow manure per bed

happy garden next year!



and one more harvest.....

turnip creatures found at the bottom end of the turnip greens.....



 while gardening, i was invited to take a break and dine-in for lunch at......







aren't kids amazing.......you take a good friend, a free afternoon and they come up with creative, fun, and exciting things to do with the bonus of a few bucks to put into the piggy bank!
