mouse......

last night, sab was playing rock band and out of the corner of his eye, saw something scurry across the floor to the corner......

a mouse!

i got out the mouse friendly(?) mouse trap, slapped on some peanut butter and set it up in the corner......

first thing this morning, i checked the trap......

got it!

gingerly carrying the little mouse mobile home, i walked to the furthest corner of the property (i think it was actually on the neighbor's corner, is that cheating?) and let him go into a nice, cozy patch of dried grass and leaves......stay!

my dad is here........

dad is here visiting for a few days, between cruises. dad is a dance host on cruise ships when he is not cruising as a passenger himself. he lives in sunny, warm san diego and braved a snow storm yesterday through vail pass to get here, just ahead of it's closing.....

it was a scary, slippery run over the mountains......i am glad you are safely here, dad. it is so nice to be with you again.

yoga......

i've started going to yoga classes again. i am not sure why i stopped, if there is one thing more i need to add to my life, it is yoga.......i love it.......i feel light as a feather and 2 inches taller after each session........my yoga instructor loves

poses that include making faces and making noises.......lion.....cow.....it is probably the loudest yoga class around.......but i'm over being shy, i am the loudest lion in the class!

to do......

thanksgiving week/paul's big birthday party is coming soon. i have a great list of things to get done before everyone arrives. it is going to be a fun, fun time but i have loads to do.......

sab, ben and friends bought outrageously expensive premier tickets to see the number 7 harry potter movie this afternoon!!!!!! ben and katie came home from school between classes to gather costumes for the much anticipated event!!!!!

they've just returned home and are very dazed and amazed, the verdict.......

"the best harry potter movie yet!"
