no school - cold day

alisa and her family came over for sunday lunch.......

paul made a winter comfort meal:

pot roast with vegetables over mashed potatoes

bread and butter pudding  

the evening's entertainment was

the michael jackson wii game

thriller......

look what happens when you get in the hot tub

and then leave your wet shorts outside to dry overnight......

running shorts popsicle!!

stiff as a board

we had more snow fall during the night

and it is very, very cold today.....

in fact, we are going to have a high of 2'F and a low of -7' F 

brrrrrrrrrrrrrr....

believe it or not, saturday was 65'F, so in two days, we've dropped 63 degrees!

in fact, it is going to be so cold that the school district has announced this

news flash!

weird..... Due to predicted extreme cold temperatures, BVSD will be closed all day Tuesday, Feb. 1, including all after-school activities. This notice is being issued at 3:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, in order to give parents early notice to allow for planning. A decision regarding Wed., Feb. 2, will be announced on Tuesday. soooooooo, all the kids immediately made plans for friends to come over and sleepovers organized.

gabi is spending the night at sidney's and ben and sab have a bunch of friends over.....

playing rock band......

movies, hot tubbing and warm chocolate chip cookies.......

and i am looking forward to a relaxing, sleep in morning.............
