paul and i chose our dates and headed off to denver
for
the classic ballet
romeo and juliet
i just soooo loved it.
(i got in trouble for taking this photo)
the costumes, the gracefulness, the frothy fabrics, the music, the beautiful ballerina bodies, the story.......
i loved it all.
paul, can you please lift me up in the air and twirl me around so gracefully, please.......
the denver center for the performing arts is an impressive complex.
thank you paul, for taking me. it was a memorable valentine's day gift.
i love you.
denver finally got a cafe rio.
so while we were downtown, we couldn't resist a cafe rio salad with fire grilled chicken
and a fire grilled chicken breast burrito! yum!
doughnuts
gabi's basketball team played their last game of the season. the team celebrated afterwards
at the neighborhood doughnut shop. hmmmmmmmm, which to choose?
doughnuts are my most favorite food in the world!!
what a fun season, what an adorable team and what a great coach!
we are going to be sorry to see this season end.
the coach congratulated each of the girls on their achievements and awarded them a trophy.
ben, sab and friends came over after pops rehearsals.
pops
is fairview's talent show and it is always amazing and over the top.
i can't wait!!
it was also the willy wonka jr. dress rehearsal.
things went pretty well - 4 shows this week!
i am just so happy to get all of the costumes out of my house and on to the actors.
break a leg, kids!!
after a huge weekend, gabi took a bath, put on her robe and bunny slippers and watched
the oscars.
don't you think every little girl needs a pair of bunny slippers?
good night, sleep tight.
