snowy super bowl sunday

snow started to fall about 4:00 yesterday and continued through the night.

we woke this morning to 12 new inches of snow.

so, feeling a bit of cabin fever, 

paul and i bundled up and went for a hike with roxy in this fresh, new winter wonderland....

this is why i don't want horses... 

their hay breakfast needs to be served around 5 a.m. rain, sleet or snow....

no thanks.  

there was no way cars were getting out of the driveway after this big snow, 

so paul got out his baby john deer and started clearing the long driveway.....

it made a dent in the snow but he soon decided it was time to get out the big guns.......

this cape town/sydney beach boy is not a huge colorado winter fan 

but he loves clearing snow with the tractors.

after clearing our driveway, he headed off to the neighbor's, then the neighbor's neighbor and on and on down the street.........

we had some friends over to watch the game....

paul made homemade pizzas - his crusts are the best!

i'll have artichoke hearts, olives, mushrooms and onion, please......

for entertainment last night. while we were all snowbound,

gabi made these delicious muffins for a super bowl sunday dessert......

way to go packers!!!!!!!!
