i am a huge fan of jane brocket.
my sister first introduced me to this english rose with the gift of a birthday book.
jane and i share so many of the same passionate pastimes and dreamy dreams...
love of family & home and surrounding our life with simple beauty and simply beautiful things.
one of the bazillion reasons i adore her is because she is a fellow book snob - classics only please......
and the fact that she partners opening a new book with opening an imported chocolate bar and then uses the wrapper for a bookmark - gorgeous!
although we've never met, i know we are soul mates because of these books......yet more gifts from alisa.
jane has taken classic children's chapter books from america and across the pond
and brought to life recipes, pastimes and activities that the characters participate in enabling you to join in timeless fun.
so much the same adventure i am on with
classic children's picture books.
next time i am in london jane, i'll phone you.
we have soooo much to talk about.
i've discovered that i love my containers of kitchen tools. what hard working, seasoned
friends you are. think of all the mixing of cakes, whipping of eggs, flipping of pancakes, ladling of soups and scraping of bowls you've worked so hard to prepare, filling the tummies
of family and friends. thanks.
it is spirit week at mesa elementary.
