cherryvale road

just down the way, lies one of my favorite roads in boulder valley.

driving or biking along cherryvale road, you will pass black angus cattle grazing in green fields,
ranches, farm houses, red barns and
classic colorado mountain views that will make your heart skip a beat.

i drove down cherryvale today and this is what else i found....

then, when i returned home and looked over the horse pasture,
i also saw this magical sight.

we are experiencing a rare and wonderful autumn.

most years by this time in october, we've either had gale force winds that have blown
the colorful leaves off of the trees or a snow that has spoiled the shades of autumn.
but this year, our season has been able to run it's full course and our world is vivid and vibrant.

  1. I have to agree with you Janet. We try to go for
Fall drives as often as I can persuade the driver.
Which ever direction we take out of Provo is equally beautiful. My garden has had a sudden rebirth and is filled with autumn colours.
I remember picking pumpkins with you last October on the way back from our trip to the northern National Parks. Great memories.

  2. I am not ready for this season to end. But alas, snow is predicted for tonight. Sleep well, autumn.
