snowlight

snowlight has a special quality about it.

here, the late morning sun reflects on my last rose of summer.

i rescued her just before the first snowfall as a creamy, little bud.

she has finally just blossomed, being warmed by the snow sun.

and here, the midday snowlight illuminates these gorgeous lillies in the foyer.

i am always tempted to buy fresh flowers when it snows 

since everything outside is hiding under a white blanket.
