i went into downtown boulder today to get a few things
and discovered the most gorgeous flower shop,
the west end gardener
i loved their christmas shopfront.
a few other boulder vendors ventured to decorate their shopfronts for christmas.
but they were absolutely the exception.
well, that's boulder. i will say no more......
tonight we had a big christmas party for the women at our church...
beautiful dinner, wonderful candy cane sprinkled dessert and gorgeous music.
my mom made these adorable patchworked fabric trivets
for me to give out to each and every woman as a gift.
there were 65 of them!

everyone absolutely loved the trivets and wanted me to give you
a very special thank you for your thoughtfulness.
they were touched by your kindness.

gabrielle spent the evening at her annual caroling party.
she takes voice lessons from a wonderful teacher and
all the students and their families are invited to spend the evening
singing christmas carols together.
later, dressing warmly in coats, hats, scarves and mittens
they head out to the surrounding neighborhood to go caroling!!
