advent day twenty-one: christmas cards received

margo was off to a high school choir reunion this morning.

i loved what she was wearing and so i had to take photos.

you look cute, m.

the evergreen garland is up and it smells like a pine forest.

mmmmmmmmm.

margo decided it was roxy spa day today.

she gave her the professional treatment 

no really, margo is a trained dog groomer.

first she gave her a bath,

sprayed her with essential oils,

clipped her nails,

cleaned her ears 

then brushed her teeth.

next, she cleaned roxy's apartment under the stairs

until it was spic and span, polished up her kitchen, fluffed up the pillows on her couch (ha!)

and made up her bed with new sheets - hope she likes the camo look.

hey, it looks like roxy already has a visitor.

it is so clean and welcoming, gabi said she wanted to sleep over at roxy's tonight.

well.........ok?!

advent:

we love getting christmas cards from our friends and family.

especially when they have photos attached.

i truly hope this tradition survives the e-age.

we like to string them up along the windows in our family room so we can share

our christmas and celebrations surrounded by those we love.
