a beautiful monarch butterfly has visited these cone flowers each day for the past two days.
she'll fly away to search for a more beautiful, tasty delight
but always seems to alight again on these orange and magenta desserts.
this artistic, beautiful and independent butterfly has also been flying
far afield these past months.
luckily for us, she touches back home again every once in a while.
back again in the late afternoon.

is testing her wings, searching for just the right tasty life morsal
and anxious for her next adventure.
