island fun

here are some of the fun things we did during our

visit to the beautiful island of roatan....

snorkeling was something we did nearly every day.

wow, what beautiful carribean colors.

we could snorkel just off our beach or kindly ask

raol to take us out to the reef on cazorita.

we also played in the pool every day.

kayaking was one of my favorite things to do.

we would head on over to the mangrove swamps, out to the reef or over to the next

door neighbor resort.

one day, ben tried wind surfing.  

we also loved exploring the island in our rental car.

check it out....

we stayed on the east side of the island and would head to the 

resorts and other tourist spots on the west side.

one day we met little poncho, the monkey.

we also had a fun turtle adventure.

one of the highlights of the whole vacation was swimming with the dolphins!

another highlight was going deep sea fishing on the bigger boat cazadora

and snorkeling at pigeon cay, further down the bay islands.

we caught black fin tuna and bonita.

thank you captain aaron and raol.

that was an amazing day!!

the next day, we had a beautiful tuna ceasar salad.
