i received a birdseed wreath for Christmas which is making
my feathered friends very happy. what a lovely week this is between
Christmas and new year's. no schedules, so many new things to talk about, eat, wear and play with.
a time to savor.
on boxing day, we headed downtown to the denver art museum
to see a very special and unique exhibition called becoming van gogh.
it was magnificent.
afterwards, we went to dinner at a very popular fish & chips shop.
calamari for me and a beef pastie for gabi, thanks.
gabi, max and nicole headed up to the mountains yesterday!
nicole is a skiier and max and gabi are snowboarders.
unfortunately, the rest of us fell victim to an awful stomach flu and
spent the day miserably lounging around the house.
we are all feeling a bit better this morning - a nice, hot bath was just the right medicine.
we had to say goodbye to nicole and max as they headed back to l.a.
we loved having you with us again!
grandpa left as well. thanks for sharing Christmas with us!!
