martin luther king day today - no work, no school.
celebrating the memory of a passionate activist and leader of
the american civil rights movement.

gabi spent this long weekend in winter park snowboarding
with her friend grace.
it was so fun and so warm and the snow was great!

the byu men's track team competed in albuquerque this weekend.

ben ranked pretty well at this meet, especially for a freshman.
margo and andrew went for a sunday drive up to the mountain town of estes park.
this is the famous stanley hotel.
the horror novelist stephen king was inspired to write the shining after his stay here.
it's an absolutely gorgeous hotel but always feels a little creepy.
they also spent hours at the denver art museum including attending the amazing
van gogh exhibit the rest of us went to after Christmas.
i think we're all refreshed and rejuvenated and ready for the week!
