spring cancelled

old man winter has put his foot down.  no pretty, little thing like spring

is going to make an entrance until he is good and ready to leave the stage.

the robins are confused, the new daffodil sprouts are shivering and

it keeps snowing and snowing and snowing.

in this winter/summer heavy state, spring and autumn rarely get the

spotlight they deserve and this year although she patiently awaits her cue, 

i believe spring's show has been cancelled.
