spring bulb stage show

months ago, i spent many a golden, autumnal afternoon 

planting bulbs. 

as i worked i envisioned, after the long winter, 

a spring stage show filling the planter bed 

with bright and cheery blooms.  

here they are! straight and proud like rows of colorful ballerinas.

what a joy!
