the cathedral

i thought i would catch you up on the construction

of the fire pit, outdoor kitchen slash pizza oven project.

so, things are moving along.....but as all projects go, 

we had a few "wait days".  but now the timber and stone

are here and mostly cut and installed.

above, are my new best friends from the don king landscape team

that come to draw landscapes, help me choose plants and basically

organize everyone and keep things happy.  

(they also helped me stamp and address many, many wedding invites!)

this outdoor project is big.  i mean it is REALLY big.  i've used the word monolithic

 a few times and officially named it the cathedral.

but, it is beautiful and amazing and i am so excited

to host a thousand fun parties and get togethers

in our backyard, under the cathedral.
