the gang's all here

all my babies have been here this week.

nicole was here on business in denver but was able to stay the week at home.

it was wonderful to all be together again even though it 

was hit and miss with everyone's work schedules catching whatever snippets of time

they could with each other.

we did fit in a divine sunday lunch with nicole touches...

stuffed pork loin chops

barrata cheese over farina drizzled with olive oil, basil and slow stewed fresh tomatoes

grilled portabello mushrooms with pesto & feta cheese

kale salad with pepitas & dried cranberries

ending with...

fresh strawberries and vanilla ice cream

it is a very busy time at our house as we prepare for margo & andrew's

up and coming wedding.  patience is being tested, decisions, decisions, decisions up to here, 

prioritizing is becoming a

bi-daily exercise and we are trying to remember that this is supposed to be fun!!

when i do take the time to sit down and really realize what all this is for,

my heart sings.  

this is one amazing couple already. 

 they work together, play together

and are a beautifully balanced mixture of personality and character.

your future is as bold & bright as the love & friendship you share.

i love you both.
