this photo particularly caught my eye while i was happily
perusing margo's tumblr blog. i've got a soft spot for joeys. after living on their turf
down under for many years, i realized it's been ages since i've even seen one, let alone
tucked a cuddly, long legged-eared-tailed joey in the softly folded pouch
of a sweatshirt (or sloppy joe in aussie lingo).

it's actually been ten years. ten years since we left our home and beautiful life in australia and headed back to the u.s. to begin a different yet equally splendid lifestyle here in colorado.
