last night, at brigham young university, an athlete's sunday meeting took place
or President's Fireside.
all b.y.u. athletes were invited to attend this special meeting to listen to speakers,
including the university's newly appointed 13th president, president worthen and enjoy
vocal performances by fellow student athletes.
ben was asked to accompany his friend emily vidmar, a gymnast, on the piano.
brother sebastian and cousin christian came to support ben,
(you three clean up quite nicely, i must say)
as well as some of ben's track teammates
who are also emily's roommates.
ben said it felt good to perform on stage again and
apparently, they got a little shout out from the president on their great performance!
wow, i'm so proud of you two............let's be truthful, you've brought me to tears.
