scotfest

this weekend, we headed up to the mountain town of estes park 

for the annual scottish irish highland festival.

we've been before and it is brilliant.  every sense awakens in these celtic surroundings with

 the music of bagpipes wafting through the air, 

sausage rolls and shepherd pies for the asking, tartan as far as the eye can see,

 irish step dancing, weaving, jousting, caber tossing and well, 

there's just something about men in kilts!
